“You’re the only one who knows when you’re using things to protect yourself and keep your ego together and when you’re opening and letting things fall apart, letting the world come as it is - working with it rather than struggling against it. You’re the only one who knows.”—Pema Chodron (via yeshecholwa)
Hey! I actually wrote this! It’s from my poem Letter from Anais Nin to Clementine von Radics. Anais couldn’t have written it, as she died nearly 20 years before I was born. Please give it the proper citing.
“Be where you are. Flow your love wherever you go. Feel just as much joy in line for the ride as you do on the ride itself. Put no one on a pedestal. We are all one. Let the Universe unravel it all. You just exist here & now, receiving what Mama is giving you. When you think of the other, think of their Spirit—not the illusion of the Story. Choose to see beyond the voices in your mind. They are not you & they are not true. Let them speak, but give them no energy. They are merely clouds passing through your sky. And most of all, enjoy your cosmic symphony. It’s all for you.”—(via bleedingthoughtsblog)
